A couple of minor points; I feel that some of the weld lines on the superstructure are a little too prominent. The 1.1" quads seem to be painted in a different measure and the railings are non SB standard. Finally, maybe the degaussing cable needs a shade underneath. :-) Thanks for the information....

Amazing job.
Powerful carriers at their time.

The shading at the bottom hull looks dark.
Maybe a little lighter will look good.

I just learned that USS PORTLAND in November did have an SG radar in November. Possibly installed at Pearl Harbor with the USS ENTERPRISE around September just after the Battle of Eastern Solomons in late August. My main focus is to draw warships that participated in the Guadalcanal campaign.
After that, maybe the 1943 post-refits.
