Yes, those rivets are working nicely!

Take a look at the running rigging, to my eye the color saturation makes it too similar to the trim. Try experimenting with grays or faded yellow/oranges. It's something I also toyed with on the rigs I've done.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this one develop!

The running rig is coloured orange for identification :P I found a light brown-grey seems to match well for the Preussen's rigging

Sponsored by the Royal Yacht Squadron a race was proposed around the Isle of Wight in 1851. The New York Yacht Club's entry was the America which outsailed 8 cutters and 7 schooners. The runner up was the Yacht Aurora

The first challenge for the Cup would not happen until 1870 and the Royal Thames Yacht Club's desire to see the Auld Mug returned home.
