Good work on portraying these.
I've been planning to do (more like redo) a series on Warspite ever since i drew the 1942 all the way back in 2018 (...it has a lot of small and not so small issues now that i look back at it), but I never got to actually get myself properly on track. The whole idea got lost somewhere along the line, despite the fact I've went out of my way to get some of the best publications about the ship in question out there.
Since i haven't got to draw it, might as well help with pointing out some inconsistencies and errors.
1) I'm struggling to see the 3-pdr guns located near the conning tower, removed in 1929 (the right plan, replaced by hawker reel in blue lining).
2)According to plans J9807 and J9808 (HMS Malaya as fitted with 1924/1929 refits drawn over) and info from Brown's Battleship Warspite, Malaya's bulge extended 12ft further forward than that of Warspite.
Warspite had flying-off platforms fitted to its B and X turrets in the end of 1919 (here over the turret and the barrels) and kept in a shape until the major reconstruction of 1934-1937; as well as the fact that the sternwalk was fitted, not removed in 1923.
3)There might be some smaller issues about the foremast and 15in gun control tower, however, on the first glance i'm not so sure about that, so i'll leave the detailed research on that to you.
All scans taken from Robert Brown's "Battleship Warspite: detailed in original builders' plans", 2017; ISBN 978 1 5267 1937 9; of which i'm a proud owner of.
In any case, these drawings show great effort put into them, so it would be a waste to have them bogged down by these small oversights and minor issues. Good luck on continuing these series.
