Former Dutch battleship Zeven Proviniƫn from 1910. In the middle of the 1930s she got a bad name because the mutiny in 1933, she was used as blokship, school vessel, and floating battery in 1936 to 1939 and renamed, she was sunk as battery against the Japanese in 1942, raised, but sunk again the same year. she was scrapped at East Indies in the late 1940s, Here guns are remained as monument at the Naval museum

She wasn't a 'true' battleship -- she was more of a coast-defense ship. Alvama, what time period does this drawing represent? (1930s, right?)

she was an battleship....but she was last of an line of coastal defence ships ;) (done some research now :D )

Do you know wich naval museum contains her turret?
In Den helder only the turret's from the old cruisers remain and the Limbo from a van speijk class.

And the Dual bofor guns from the de ruyter.

I think one in indonesia, as she served there all her life.... but I'm not sure about that.

Meh, I think 'coast-defense ships' and 'battleships' are as different as pre-dreadnoughts and dreadnoughts. But that's just my opinion. :P Did you know that the Dutch had plans to build a class of dreadnoughts in 1913 and a class of battlecruisers in 1939, but both were interrupted by the world wars?
