Amazing! She has a Graf Zeppelin-esque funnel and bow...perhaps GZ would've looked similar after a refit? In any event, she's gorgeous...nice work!

Gorgeous work Garlicdesign. I am glad I had given up on all French ships I was intending to do (including this ships)
The aircraft are awesome work ( Breguet Bre.810 I believe, and the Dewoitine D.790)

Hello again!

I indeed forgot the light AA rangefinders, added below. The 13mm AAMGs shown in the original plans have been substituted with 25mm twins; as everyone (including the Vichy French within the limits of their possibilities) was trying to get rid of those quite useless guns and replace them with autocannon, I thought the Joffre would also have them by 1942.

Below a 1945 variant with more flak, some british-style radars and new planes (navalized Arsenal VB.10 and Nord N.1500).

Greetings

Colombamike it's called paint and it's a common feature on pretty much all wooden decks throughout the war.

This is one of the best never-where drawings Ive yet seen here, well done!! Also, Ive always been under impression that Joffre was somewhat ungainly, boring and dull looking concept, but you have managed to make it look really beutifull and charismatic. :)

The 1945 update is awesome! :)
Are You perhaps planning further updates to this project (late 1940s, 1950s)?
