Yes been looking at that myself. Going to insert a 5 meter section into the forward hull between the VLS and bridge and have my 910 on a platform 1 half or maybe 1 deck higher than the VLS but as not to block the bridge.

I can then use this as an additional phalanx mount in a later refit guise or replace the phalanx entirly with goalkeeper using the then redundant 910 positions....

My Plan for her refit.

1. New forward mast with BAE Samson radar.
2. New Rear mast with Signaal-Marconi S-1850 radar.
3. Phalanx system removed completely.
4. Type 909 now redundant removed.
5. Sea Wolf VLS repalced with 2x 8 cell Sylver A-43. packing 64 CAMM.
6. Type 910 removed with Sea Wolf Replaced by Goalkeeper CIWS Instalations.
7. Replaced entire GWS.30 launcher and Magazine with 4x 8 cell Sylver A-70.
8. Replaced entire GWS.30 launcher and Magazine with 2x 8 cell Sylver A-70.

I'm pretty skeptical about the concept of so completely gutting and refitting a thirty-year-old surface combatant.
