Potez 543 in Romanian service

A traditional buyer of French bombers, Romania purchased the 543 and 641 as bombers (even though the 641 was a transport developed from the bombers) in the mid-1930's.

[ img ]

The 543 had a short service life as it was rapidly replaced by newer types including the He 111. The 543 fleet ended their careers as unarmed transports.
