The 4 company rifle battalion establishment was common to all Commonwealth armies. It meant that a battalion attack allowed 2 companies up front, one behind to give depth and 1 in reserve.
The representation is visually brilliant, well done!
The comment regarding standardization of trucks, while a good one, should be considered in terms of wartime exigencies where different corps have their own priorities with the PBI (poor bloody infantry) usually getting what it could. Not always ideal, but sometimes the Brits simply had to make the best with what they had; they probably did a remarkably good job under the circumstances. The Americans had the luxury of being able to be very standardized in their TO & Es, proably more than any other army.

Really good stuff. I especially like that your cooks, mechanics, etc. ,
do not look like rifleman. Very easy to comprehend. I wish that all the
Government printed T.O. & E.'s from WWII were this easy to understand.

Well done DP! Please keep up the good work.
Signal's observation about govt. TO&Es s is well made. They are prepared to be read by a wide range of experts from intelligence to logistics, who need to know how best to work with the units depicted and reflect that. If you ever read an official army pamphlet, it requires a lot of looking backwards and forwards unless you are initiated, so it never ideally lays it out for the layman.
Work like that of DP's does this beautifully. In the British system, unless it was an actual motor battalion it would have extra motor transport from motor transport companies allocated should the whole battalion or division be shifted or redeployed.
Heavy weapons units like the above had to be completely vehicular mounted if they were to respond quickly to fluid tactical situations.
In the South West Pacific Area where the Australian Army did much of the fighting just about everything was man or mule packed, due to the ruggedness of the terrain and lack of good roads. These TO&Es are very different and were a big influence on the eventual TO&Es for the British Army in Burma (The forgotten FRONT)
