USA, C-27J Spartan (ANG)
[ img ]
The C-27J was short-lived in USAF service, being operation only with three Air National Guard squadrons for a period of barely three years. Due to budget cuts in 2013, all of the USAF's C-27s were retired and sent to AMARC.

USA, F-16 Fighting Falcon (NASA)
[ img ]
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has operated several F-16s over the years, including the F-16XL prototypes and a handful of regular F-16s. One of the better-documented aircraft, NASA 516/816, was an F-16A Block 15M retrofitted with an F-16C spine and served until around the turn of the millennium before becoming a Gate Guard at Palmdale.

Australia, P-51D/K Mustang (US Production)
[ img ]
Prior to the introduction of CAC production Mustangs, the Royal Australian Air Force received a number of US-built P-51Ds and P-51Ks, as well as the photoreconnaissance F-6s. Though arriving too late to see service in WWII, they did serve actively in the British Commonwealth Occupation Force in occupied Japan after the war's end.
