Чернобыль Heavy MBT by ProkhorVLG (Pork Guy) - SA, on Flickr Чернобыль Heavy MBT The evolution of the Чернобыль MBT through the decades. A tank design taken from the France area in the 1950s. The design was combined with the newer soviet tank turret designs. The original was deployed in the UT in the 60s-70s. Every few years, every Чернобыль in the UT military would get upgraded, after design flaws were ruled out and designs got improved. In the year 2000 the Москва got a replacement for the aging GASTRO-18 missile system called the "Grad". 2 pods on either side of the tank was filled with many smaller guided missiles. In 2015 the armor was equipped with an anti projectile system, which had a small laser built into sides of the tank. When a projectile was fired at the tank a computer would rule the object out and blast it with a laser. Sometimes the projectile was destroyed, sometimes not. Also, the Grad pods were expanded and the guiding was improved, with different ways of aiming the missiles (human guided, infrared). In 2030 a railgun was put onto the tank. It was much more efficient than the regular gun installed on previous upgrades. It was more powerful, accurate, and had greater firing speed. In 2040 the Чернобыль got a final upgrade, hover. The Чернобыль was very fast and agile with the new upgrade. After that, it served for a few hundred years with barely any change. Even after the fall of the UT, it was used by other nations, and produced by them. The design was extremely efficient, so efficient that it was put onto other planets... The End. Nah bump that up to 1968. |

very nice but i feel that even 1968 is early for your design it looks much more like an 80s-90s design at the earliest to me |

THat is very true good point but u have the spaced add on turret armor that wasn't fitted to the Leopard 2(the A5 version) till 1998 when it entered service with the German army and have reactive armor too i believe but i may be mistaken on your initial design. but its your AU so...i guess it doesn't matter too much Excellant Drawings though |

Leopard 1 - 1965, Leopard 2 - 1979, Leopard 2A5 (with reactive armor modules) - 1993. |

Thanks. It doesn't matter much, as in our AU everything happens much earlier than modern day. 1939: Fully Automatic Assault Rifles (Given direct to TSAR), Tank MRL 1944: Jet Aircraft, Nuclear Weapons and Power 1949: Helicopters, 1954: Ballistic Missiles, 1959: Main Battle Tanks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_battle_tank), Operational SAMs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S-75_Dvina) 1964:, Air to Air Missiles/AGM's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air-to-air_missile) 1969: helicopter gunships 1974: Modern Multirole Jet Fighter/Bombers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-14_Tomcat) 1979: Man Portable AA missile launchers, Automatic mag fed grenade launchers 1984: caseless ammunation, Stealth aircraft (including choppers) 1989:Man portable HUD 1994: Lun type heavy aircraft 1999: 2004: Super ships, Naval Railguns, (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1947) (http://i387.photobucket.com/albums/oo31 ... 09_040.png) 2009: Whispercraft-type Jet/Helicopter Hybrids 2014: Powered Exoskeletons, Invisibility Illusions (Prokhors Vid) 2019: 6th gen fighter jets (Yukikaze) 2024: Space Pods (Pods launched from a space station in orbit with military personnel in it) Laser/Plasma weapons 2029: Tank portable railgun technology 2034: Nuclear Fusion Power - Commercial and Military. 2039: Man portable laser technology, Hover Tanks (Tracked and Wheeled are perfectly acceptable and not obselete, but small/light ones could be hover) 2044: Heavy Hover Tanks 2049: Colonization of Mars 2054: Interstellar Flight (Colonization of the planet Chiron in Alpha Centauri star system) (http://homepage.mac.com/cheethorne/alph ... es/map.jpg) 2059: 2064: 2069: 2074: 2079: Yeah, any ideas for 1999 and the future 2059+? I would really appreciate it |

A lot of your developments up to 2004 are actually not that ahead for example in real life the Mexican Montragon and Russian Federov Avtomat were essentially assult rifles and were availible during World War 1 (these u though could i guess count as exceptions and they were do to very reasons varying from Trench conditions to plain chance not used widely so widespread use of assault rifles like im assuming u mean is still ahead but u could go even earlier) AGMS were deployed during vietnam i believe but that depends on what you consider an AGM and air to air missiles were nearly ready to be used in World War 2 for Germany and entering service in the 50s, arguably the First Helicopters flew in the 20s and the most widely recognized helicopter flew in 1936 ( you may however be referring to more advance helicopters) MANPADS were first deployed in the 1960s, SAMS were almost used operationally by Nazi Germany and the US Nike Ajax was first introduced in 1952 and theres a few others I'm sorry i just rambled on a ton but my point is that while some things are ahead many are actually behind in some ways You are an excellent drawer though and Im sorry to probably ruin this for you I hope u continue with this au and it looks like you have a very good idea of the future pass 1999 to me you could add SCRAM jet fighters maybe |

It doesn't ruin anything, it's just that we don't want to design new units every week, so we do an auction every week (which is reasonable, right? As a dechnology develops, it changes every few years. We want to start out with the good hi tech results of that development, like normal modern looking choppers etc) Well, I can't really explain. It's kinda like the dreaded Nation States only on a smaller scale, maybe only 15 ppl. We each own a nation (In my case I own the UT, The Ukrainian Territories, which by now controls most of Asia). We actually have battles and everything, only using posts. It's basically a full blown forum game. Thanks :3 Sure will |
