I meant that PWS-24, which isn't very well known plane outside Poland (well, actually in Poland too). ;)
It just seemed like a good one to use for light transport/liason/squadron hack work.

I wasn't real sure where to put this as it most definitely isn't a drawing of a ship. I had initially thought about posting it as a separate thread, but again, wasn't sure where as this isn't, as previously mentioned, a ship. It is, however, a representation of "my world".

This is what I've been working on for the past couple years, getting serious about it this past spring and summer. It started as just a little exercise to see what a map containing all my various Dominions, Colonies and Possessions would look like, and was inspired by the British Empire maps put out during Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. As such, I had considered it to be more of an "alternate" map to the one GH actually was on in my then current region in NS. I've since left that region owing to some disputes, so ... this is now my primary map.

But ... It looked rather empty with just my stuff on there. So, I added in many of the nations from my former region and others regions that my nation has had interaction with and that I consider part of my "history".

But ... there is still lots of open space. So, I opened it up to some friends of mine as an "alternate" map, one which did not replace their original ones, mostly in an effort to get rid of that open space. I got a few takers, but, as you can see there is still far too much open land for any civilized modern world. I thought I might post it on the NS forum to see if anybody else wanted on there, but I am really a bit leary of doing that because I don't want it populated by a gaggle of day old godmodding noobs who think their piddly little nation deserves a land mass the size of Eurasia.

So ... I'll make this offer to y'all ... Should anybody like to garner a spot on here, not as a main RP map, but as an alternate reality type thing, and mostly just to fill in the blanks on here, Just say so. Shoot me a PM with what you might like to have. If you want to draw it yourself, awesome. If you just want to give me a description and I can draw it on there, that's fine too. If you have a current map of your AU country and want to keep using that particular map, I can try and fit it in somehow. All I ask is that you keep requests reasonable. Coastlines can be redrawn to a certain extent, and rivers and mountain ranges can be altered to suit, added, moved some, whatever. I'm flexible. I just really want to fill in the blanks without resorting to NSnoobland to do so.

The Map ...
[ img ]
The RED colored areas are Grays Harbor proper
The BRICK colored areas are GH Possessions
The GOLDEN colored areas are GH Colonies
The ORANGE colored areas are Dominions of the Commonwealth
The GRAY colored areas are my primary adversary, the Prussian Alliance and their colonies and possessions.
All other colors such a the various shades of green, brown, and beige are all other countries.

So, any takers? :?

Nice work with that map. :)
Possibly one day I'll ask You to lend me some space there (though first I have to have some other things done  ).

I honestly don't know. Since this is primarily a naval and ship forum, maps and such really aren't a simple fit. Square peg - round hole type thing. Let me think about it. I'll be away from home this coming week so won't have access to my files, so give me some time to work it out.

I'm pretty sure he meant ships, not maps

Well, leave it to me to grossly misunderstand something.

Umm ... yeah, probably start new threads for your own vessels, as this is reserved for my own Royal Navy.
