Now come the Battlecruiser class of the Rossiyan Navy. The Rossiyan Navy only decided to build battlecruisers as to reinforce her aging battleships, the Navansha class battleships and also to replace the five battleships, RFS Tariva, RFS Hartland, RFS Zrikov, RFS Nikolai and RFS Rosstan which sunk in the Battle of Jutland of 1916.
However the new Rossiyan Battlecruiser caused some controversy amongst the Allies as its class was called Richtofen class Battlecruiser. This was not well liked as it had the same name as the infamous German ace.

This is the Richtofen class Battlecruiser
The design was deliberate as to cause confusion to the German Kaiserliche Marine
It had eight 14 inch guns and eight 6 inch guns.
It is powered by by 24 boilers and 4 turbines.
Top Speed is 26 knots

Holy shit that is top heavy. The height of the superstructure should be reduced 2-3 times. The torpedo bulges you have added are too small to be of use. They should always be longer than the armor belt.

Courageous class is not a good starting point for a large battlecruiser. The Renown and Hood classes are much better for that.

The front 1/2 looks good .

But the stern need redoing bigger (or losing a turret) and moving the rear 6 inch guns out of blast.

I have taken the liberty to do a quick hack job of your drawing to illustrate what we mean by 'balance'.

The parts you are using and the hull can work together you just need to put the parts in the right places. You are learning from each drawing you do so keep trying. Remember that if you can get one of your Alternate Universe designs to look like a real ship just 'different' then you will have succeeded.

One of the best bits of advice I have got in Shipbucket is: Your design should look like all the parts go together, not just cut and paste.

You have the right ideas just need bit better execution.

Sorry, but just have to ask: what hitherto unknown information to you possess, Oberstamiruddin, to label Manfred von Richtofen "infamous"? To most Allies and lexical entries' knowledge and/or perception he was, in fact widely respected and even admired by his adversaries. (And I take it that you're referring to him, not his cousin, Wolfram, who ended his career as a Generalfeldmarschall, in 1940...)

(Not intended to troll or flame, but perhaps we ought to be more aware of how we phrase things here, at SB, as not to unnecessarily insult people/peoples...)
