At first, i drew kdx-1 ship based on the thales renders. after finishing drawing, i found out that there are many differences between the thales renders and real. so i had to draw kdx-1 from the start.

Thank for your comments! above all, 'the picture of 973 Yangmanchun'. even thought i live in south korea, it's difficult to find a proper picture of kdx-1.

one little problem for now: this ship has directors and radars which are already drawn in shipbucket.
these are:
Air Search Radar Raytheon AN/SPS-49(V) 2D radar
Surface Search Radar Signaal MW 08 Surface search radar
Fire Control Radar 2 Signaal STIR 180 Fire control radar
I believe you already took the correct air search radar, but I will post the other 2 here....
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e42/M ... nRadar.png
here is the STIR, will look for the others....

other then that, it is great work (way better then my first work :D )

EDIT: mw08 is correct... as is the sps 49. please update the STIR, and then it is complete IMO ;)

kdx-1 equips AN/SPS-49(V) 2D.
as i know, the drawings you attached is signal LW-08.
is there the newest AN/SPS-49(V) 2D drawing in shipbucket?

Thank you for your comments.

I believe these are the same radars (only difference is L-, and D-band), and if not, at least their appearance is the same. Because the AN/SPS-49 radar is also equipped on the OHP class, and Thales says those are equipped with licensed LW-08s.
