Really nice what would really set it of is GwR style brass valve surround on top of the boiler this will match your brass chimney top, I'm not a steamie myself I used to build real channel tunnel electric trains,but she looks the part

You know, I had been thinking about that but that would mean going to a domeless boiler unless I kept the valve atop the firebox, in fact, that might look just as good.

I think I'll have another poke at it later today, see if I can't make it more regal looking. That is of course if the gas-fitters finish their work when they said they would.

I'm aware of that, but until I work the rods and rest of it I'm reluctant to add them as I need to work out their size.
