Can't remember whether I ever posted this one here or not. Now is it me, or does this MiG look a bit... familiar?



Just took DP's lovely F-5, repainted it black, added AA-2's in place of Sidewinders and, since Top Gun claimed that the MiG-28 could carry Exocet, hung one on the centreline of the two seater. Backstory is fairly simple, with Mikoyan reverse-engineering F-5E's they got from Vietnam, intending to create an export fighter that was even cheaper then the MiG-21. Since it was purely an export fighter, it got the out of sequence -28 designation. My full AU history, if you've got a month spare to read through it all, is here.
