London treaty Gunboat Challenge

Article 8b
Naval surface combatant vessels exceeding 600 tons (610 metric tons), but not exceeding 2,000 tons (2,032 metric tons) standard displacement, provided they have none of the following characteristics:

Mount a gun above 6.1 inch (155 mm) calibre;

Mount more than four guns above 3 inch (76 mm) calibre;

Are designed or fitted to launch torpedoes;

Are designed for a speed greater than twenty knots.

This time the requirments are pretty straightfoward. Its aprill 1930, and your nation is a signatory in the London Naval Treaty (or any equalent with same codex in your universum at corresponding timeframe)
EDIT: I decided to be bit more lax in the requirments for the country vs. signatory. since quite many AUs disregards such treaties and I dont like to make single nation(s) spesific challenges. The technical requirments Still aply.

Length of challenge & judging categories:

This challenge will run until 23:59:59 UTC January 15. Entries submitted after 23:59:59 UTC on January 15th will be disqualified.

Drawings will be scored via Google Forms poll, based on the below categories to decide a winner. The poll will close and open once its completed. Categories are as follows, with 10 points available in categories 1-4 and set of ammount for the 5th category that will be announced later…

1. Drawing quality (1-10): quality of the drawing; this would include detailing, shading, accuracy, etc.
2. Design realism (1-10): how realistic the design feels with or without the associated backstory.
3. Originality (1-10): did the artist just copy an existing design and add a new paint scheme, or did they design something new from the ground up?
4. Suitability (1-10): is the design presented actually suitable for the challenge? Does it fulfill the requirements posed?
5. Kitbash factor (suggestions to improve this section are welcome)

The poll will not allow commentary. Reviewers are encouraged to leave a post in this thread once polling begins with their commentary for each drawing.
NO voting rigging or other negative influencing of the results. Poll will include e-mails and other ID information, so all foul makers will be banned from SB, and artists as well, if we can find evidence that they were behind such activities.

I find this contest idea to be particularly interesting, because (unlike the rest of the various treaties) this line item almost spoke a type of ship into being, and no major navy ever built anything like it again. I hope I find time to come up with something

The Cicero design was supposed to be a four ship class, but as with all things Tyrrhenian, want outstripped the money supply. Eventually only one ship was authorised and built. As a coastal patrol vessel the ship provided sterling service. The only armament upgrade was to replace the 12.7mm machine guns with two twin and two single 20mm cannons. To offset the extra weight added by wartime additions, the aircraft and it associated equipment were landed. No radar upgrades made it to the ship which was sunk by torpedoes and gunfire from destroyers of Force H while escorting a convoy to Palma in November 1940.

London treaty defined gunships are actually a colonial gunboat，like French Bougainville-class,Portuguese Afonso de Albuquerque-class,Dutch Johan Maurits van Nassau-class,Italian Eritrea-class,Also include America Erie-class.This type of boats are used for gunboat diplomacy,they are instrument for imperialism to enslave the colonial people.I always opposed imperialism and colonialism,so I will not take part in this challenge.

London treaty is politics，this type of ship also politics.This type of gunships can not used to defend the country，can not used to against invasion，but to invade others.This type of ship is politics in itself，It's can not provide an explanation only by “no politics”.

Interestingly in 1933 the Royal Navy briefly thought about building heavily-armed sloops as a way of defending specifically to defend convoys against contre-torpilleurs. They could build unlimited numbers of sloops under treaty limits, whilst Britain was limited to 150,000 tons of destroyers, hence was unable to build enough destroyers to counter the contre-torpilleurs.

I think that a treaty of almost 80 years old like London Treaty, is not politics, is history. Every warship built, even the less armed or armoured, if cleverly manned, is able to defend his country. Please, take a look of the gunboats Pelican (Thornycroft built) or Stork (Denny), both of them could be clasified by your previous definition as "colonial gunboats" but both classes performed well as ASW vessels. And, for all the guys here, My sincere apologies for this flagrant off-topic. Cheers.
