Gloster Gladiator Mk.I

Another veteran of the Norwegian campaign, this time from the RAF. An interesting colour scheme, more like a Fleet Air Arm scheme than a RAF scheme.

The 1st AA 707's livery in that pic is also the same as used by N7506A (this 707 crashed into Jamaica Bay as AA Flight 1 on March 1st, 1962.)

Thanks @Bordkanone 75, loved your previous Romanian schemes. I'm bogged down with other seaplanes right now (yeah what's new), but how can you imagine a world where this badboy didn't feature!

Dan, nice drawings, but one thing stands out to me. On the N905NA 2011 drawing, the lower section of the arrow device goes in front of the N and the A in NASA, as seen here: https://www.deviantart.com/timothyjc/ar ... -851287601

It could also use some clean up with the tails of the arrow device.

There is also something weird with the flags on the ones with the worm. The flags should either be 20 pixels tall and 38 long or 21 pixels tall and 40 long. I know the stripe pattern is hard to render at scale, but here is something I did a while back as a best-pass, presuming that blended coloration on the stripes isn't done:

Edit: Actually, Wow. The entire NASA Arrow and Orbit device is distorted a bit. The image I linked to on my dA page is based off of official NASA vector artwork, and matches scans of work done by model makers.

Further, I think showing N905NA as it looked in 1977 for the ALT flights would be a better representation of the aircraft, and would show the white tail, rather than the unpainted one. This also represents the paint scheme used prior to the 1983 trip to the Paris Air Show (for which the scheme shown on N911NA was adopted).

One of the only changes to the outer mold like on the aircraft actually was done for the Paris Air Show flights, when the HAVE SIREN IR countermeasures system was installed:

You may note the small cans on the each side of the engine pylons. I am not sure when this was removed, but it was prior to the last flight of the aircraft.
