The Germans never used a white cross. Hungary and Italy did.
So the question remains: why the cross is white?
It is not. It is surrounded by the black border. It is the German cross from WWII. You just have to look very closely or zoom in on it.
The German cross was never white with a black border- it was black with a white border. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Categ ... mpire_WWII
There was a black line framing the white border to show the edges of the white border, but the Cross inside was always black.
It is fixed. I can't believe I made a stupid mistake like that
Meh... happens to the best of us.
The ship looks awesome, and the drawing is premium quality- that's what REALLY matters!
Looking forward to those cruisers!

The Armor belt goes bow to stern? I thought almost everyone went to All or Nothing at some point...You'll save weight if you just run the belt from Anton to Dora (at least I think that's how the Germans named their BB turrets.)
