A question about the templates: I have a drawing (below) that will not fit on the template. Do I break it up into eight different drawings?
I don't know. I don't have any authority to decide things. Neither does WhyMe. It depends on what Gollevainen says.
However, I can tell you what I ended up doing:
Because I was sick and tired of having to hunt through all of the FD-scale database looking for a vehicle and trying to figure out if the Royal Netherlands Air Force F-16 is in the United States database (which, BTW, it is for some reason) or some other nonsense like that, I broke it down, created a new sheet, and put each individual aircraft on its own sheet which I then put into the folder of its proper nation. At the same time I preserved the larger sheet and put that in the folder of the primary serving nation/nation of manufacture so all the variants can be viewed at once. Still, I do like the idea of breaking it up, but I also prefer for various variants and color schemes of the same nation to be consolidated, at least (like what Radome has done with his Harrier)
Regarding canvas size limits, I for one wouldn't be so hard and fast on the (in)flexibility of the canvas size (I for one would really like to see Concorde or a B-1B in FD-scale, and maybe I'll do one of each myself) but two things to consider:
1.) Gollevainen makes all final policy decisions
2.) Regarding FD-scale ships specifically, this is still
Shipbucket, so FD-scale ships will, at best, remain a novelty.
