A nice kick of for the new year, it tells basicly everything about our anticipation for good HMS Hood drawing that the thread is allready on its 3rd page when I get to post here

One suggestion tough, I would use a one tone ligther shade (effectively the color of the railings) to drawn the various lines in the hull. With the current, they sorta poke out bit too clearly than its perhaps supposed.

This is great! The drawing is very crisp and bright - the
details really show. However, if I understand SB rules
correctly, shouldn't the AA rocket mounts near the
funnels be trained(pointed) fore and/or aft, instead of
broadside?

It should. Especially when it in its current position is unrecognisable.

As to the various comments;
Kim, I'll add the CoA before it goes for the next uploading session.
Golly, I see your point, I'll tone it down slightly, esp those lines forward.
signal, the rules do say fore and aft, but, as with the Phalanx arguement the mods have agreed that commonsense comes into play with certain details. The four beam mounts alway seems to be portrayed as pointing beamward in most drawings and plans (for obvious reasons of their purpose) with large blast shields behind them. I know the mount has a pivot but I'm not sure how much traverse the launcher had (e.g. 180 degrees) so I'm protraying them beamward.

Next up will be as built and then I'll try a refitted Hood using the rough description from the HMS Hood Association site.
