A question:We are in 1958,in my AU scenario and RHAF announces a international competion for a medium bomber aircraft.Total number 30-40 (depending on price) with all nessesary spares and ground equipment.Deliver time of first aircrafts in 2-3 years. Also manufacturer have to provide complete training for air crew, ground crew and maintenance crew.Service life 30-35 years.

-Bomb load ~10 tons
-Transonic speed at least
-4 or more engines

I thought the B-47 Stratojet and the Avro Vulcan.Any other suggestions?

The enemy at the opposite side of the Aegean considers to order 54 Tupolev Tu-16.

Has anyone painted the Aero L39/59/159 Albatross?

Moved from the Planebucket thread.

If that small device above the nose is a refueling probe, you might want to move it lower, or make it about twelve feet longer. With probe-drogue, the pilot flies the probe into the drogue. This means that the pilot must be able to see the probe.

Of course with flying boom refueling, the pilot simply formates on the tanker, though the A380 would appear to pose massive bow wave issues.

Correct, but zaco did that reproduce in the raw state model proposed

in logic, it would be suitable for the A380 MRTB have an opening of refueling, refueling boom is actually inadequate on the aircraft

but perhaps that this probe is not a refuelling boom
