Yes, the age of the mighty cannon-weilding juggernauts is currently at an end (until we reach space or develop suitable railgun tech). In the pure sense of amusement, if anyone has projects pertaining to Battleship type vessels that could find a place in the world, post it!. Especially, any designs that pertain to a modern design for a fleet support/ naval bombardment support type heavy vessel.
