EDIT: A speculative question... Would a cruiser this size be capable of carrying 5 triple 8's instead of the 5 twin 8's currently on there? I'm not considering changing it, just curiousity is all.
In a not entirely educated word: no.

Mogami had twin 8-inch gun turrets, BTW.
Not until 1939 they didn't. From when they were commissioned in the mid 30's until their 1939 refits they carried 5 x 6.1" triple turrets. The Brooklyns were built specifically to counter the 6.1" armed Mogami's.

REV C with changes.

(yes, I know. I forgot the bilge keel extention. I'll fix that next update. I also decided to leave the funnels as is for now and leave the raising of them for a mid-30's refit cycle, much like the London Class did.)

compared to the previous REV B

I cannot contribute on the design, although I do quite like it, but I'm gonna pick on your choice of names ;)
I think it's not very logical to use names of gods from different pantheons. It might work if you picked different names of the same god, like if you chose a god of thunder you name your ships Zeus, Jupiter, Thor, Ammon, Indra and so on; but still I'd find it a bit questionable. So please think about it and maybe take a better look into correlation of deities name through various pantheons.

The Danish A and B class submarines were named after a mix of gods and mythological creatures from two or three different pantheons so it's not entirely without precedence.

Heavy Cruisers were named for Pagen Gods and heroes. The choice of names for this class was based on the idea that this class is designed to be "cruiser leaders", flagships for cruiser squadrons, so the "King of the Gods" from differing pantheons was chosen as names to reflect this. Those are their names, and that is not changing. But I appreciate the feedback.

No matter what you call them I'm still impressed by the design from an aesthetic point at least. My only concern is that the catapult might be a bit vulnerable in its current state otherwise, bravo!

Well, I had wanted midships catapults from the beginning, and had them set low at first, then Colo made the suggestion that they be elevated, along the lines of the early US cruisers. I have to say, I admire the looks of the USN Heavies of the 20's and 30's, so it made sense to me to go with that look, at least for the aviation facilities.

Ah, that makes sense. Although I thought Osiris was a god of the dead but I'm not gonna argue. It's your AU after all.

I just realized something. In the current set-up your directors can't turn 90 degrees which is a bit of a problem when firing broadsides.
