Hello, I haven't posted on SB for a while. I got a few things I want to show.

ALSO, the ones on top are newer than the ones on the bottom.

NONE OF THESE ARE REAL. For an AU. I also don't want to hear about technical details, sorry :P

T-120 "Moskva" (Moscow) MBT by Prokhor Zakharov, on Flickr

T-120 "Moskva" (Moscow) MBT

-------------------

The T-120 Moskva MBT is a state of the art tank equipped with the latest gadgets the world can provide in 2020.

Armed with a large calibre main gun and guided ATGMs on either side. Employs a SAM if air units are too pesky, and the newest AI controlled 20mm autocannon and machinegun turret mounted on top of the tank.

As with most UT tanks, it features a three-tier protection system.

The first tier is the composite armour. It consists of basic armour shell with an insert of alternating layers of aluminum and plastics and a controlled deformation section.

The second tier is the Kontakt-5 ERA (explosive reactive armor). It severely reduces the blow from kinetic projectiles. They are in the form of blocks on the turret and body or as ERA plates underneath steel outer covering. It results in much better protection than simple steel armour as featured on many other non-UT tanks.

The third tier is a Shtora countermeasures suite. This system includes two IR "dazzlers" on the front/top of the turret in the shape of blocks, four Laser warning receivers, two 3D6 aerosol grenade discharging systems and a computerized control system. The Shtora-1 warns the tank's crew when the tank has been 'painted' by a weapon-guidance laser and automatically activates the aerosol grenade launchers, effectively jamming the incoming missile. The aerosol grenades are used to mask the tank from laser rangefinders and designators as well as the optics of other weapons systems.

For passive guidance rocket systems, IR dazzlers create a blinding field of infrared light, "blinding" the rocket as it's IR isn't visible anymore.

The Arena active countermeasures suite consist of a computer, incoming projectile warning sensors, and shrapnel launchers all around the tank hull. It detects an incoming projectile, and sends out a stream of shrapnel to meet the incoming projectile. It destroys the projectile while leaving the armour intact.

Powered by a hybrid diesel/electric engine. Fast, has good suspension, and is able to submerge completely into water without leaks. Employs an autoloader.

It has it's own air search radar, allowing it to use SAMs standalone. 3 kilometer range.

The tanks are also fitted with nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) protection equipment. It includes a mine disabling kit. The EMT-7 electromagnetic-counter mine system is installed: the EMT-7 emits an electromagnetic pulse to disable magnetic mines and disrupt electronics before the tank reaches them. The Nakidka signature reduction suite is also equipped. Nakidka is designed to reduce the probabilities of an object to be detected by Infrared, Thermal, Radar-Thermal, and Radar bands.

All tanks are installed with night vision and infrared cameras, with direct feed into screens inside the tank.

BTR-90 Bronnetransportyor "Ubiitsa"

BTR-90 Bronnetransportyor "Ubiitsa" (Bronnetransportyor - Armoured Transporter) (Ubiitsa - Assassin)

--------------------

A heavy APC, with tank features.

It is armed with a 50mm main cannon, twin side mounted 20mm AA/Anti-personnel autocannons, ATGM, and a coaxial MG. Also, it has it's own air search radar, so the tank can venture on it's own and still use it's autocannons accurately up to a 3 kilometer radius.

It's ATGM is effective up to 1 km, and is used on both enemy armoured vehicles and low flying targets such as helicopters.

As with most UT tanks (and some APCs), it features a three-tier protection system.

This system includes two IR "dazzlers" on the front of the turret in the shape of blocks, four Laser warning receivers, two 3D6 aerosol grenade discharging systems and a computerized control system.

Powered by a hybrid diesel/electric engine. Fast, has good suspension, and is amphibious. Total speed of 60 km/h on land, 10 km/h in water.

The APCs are also fitted with nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) protection equipment.

All APCs are installed with night vision and infrared cameras, with direct feed into screens inside the APC.

TOS-1 Buratino MRL by Prokhor Zakharov, on Flickr

TOS-1 Buratino MRL

TOS-1 Buratino MRL (Buratino - Pinocchio)

--------------------

The TOS-1 has the chassis of the T-100, making it look just as brutal and deadly. It kills with a different method, though.

It boasts an MRL system as it's main weapon. This is not an artillery piece, but rather a main assault weapon. These are used right behind MBTs. Loaded with a variety of missiles, they can be used for clearing out buildings, destroying light and heavy armour, and blowing humans up.

Their range is quite short, as it's missiles can only go about 5 miles. It uses an advanced targeting computer and a hybrid electrical/gasoline engine. It has an HMG to fend off pesky infantry units who stray too close.

It's advanced computers allow it to mesh in with the intel networks, which is essentially a map created from soldier feed, satellite images, UAVs, planes, etc. This virtual map includes enemy locations. If a UT or allied soldier with Enforcer Suit is in the area, he will be able to guide the missile in with deadly accuracy, using only his presence (His computers will take visual data, send it to the command center, which will interpret the data and make sense of it. It will mark out enemy soldiers and send the info back to the Enforcer, the whole process takes only microseconds, so it is essentially real time.)

Runs on a diesel/electric engine.

The tanks are also fitted with nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) protection equipment.

A mineplow is attached to the front of the tank, making sure mines aren't a problem. Includes an HMG to get rid of infantry units.

It's ATGM is effective up to 1 km, and is used on both enemy armoured vehicles and low flying targets such as helicopters.

This system includes two IR "dazzlers" on the front of the turret in the shape of blocks, four Laser warning receivers, two 3D6 aerosol grenade discharging systems and a computerized control system.

The Vratar is a small, lightly armoured vehicle with transport in mind when it was designed.

It offers quick transport around a battlefield and is also used as a scout.

Featuring a hybrid diesel/electric engine along with light armour, it is one of the fastest units in the UT ground arsenal.

T-83 Suvorov Assault Vehicle by Prokhor Zakharov, on Flickr

T-83 Suvorov Assault Vehicle

Heavy Assault Vehicle

$40,000

An extremely heavy monster. It is a 4x24 VLS system, filled with 96 missiles. Two types of missiles are inside this vehicle: Anti-ground and Anti-air.

Anti-Ground: AG-34, 60 mile range

Anti-Air: SA-902, 75 mile range

These very rarely actually see combat, due to the range of missiles. Therefore it is only armed with an HMG.

It is also equipped with it's own air-search radar, and employs a BELKA-22T UAV launcher for reconnaisance.

The original will now be terminated.

What are the specs on the Su-26? I always loved the Su-17 series and this of course appears to be a sucessor. What is the engine?

You have been busy. ;)

I will start picking now, rdy ? :D

One thing at the time, I start wit Slon Walker. Massive quad walkers are ... ok, leave the reality of using that kind of machines in modern war. Take it from mechanic point of view. You use "chicken legs" design, for quad thats a bad choice. They are good for speed, but you don't need speed in that design, you need stability. Because on your back there is some kick ass guns ( with limited traverse and huge dead zone, second problem ) and you need good platform for it. Self defence is tragic lad, what if someone get fast under the range of your main guns, thats not hard to do. You should add some sponsons with maybe 30 mm chainguns on side, good for vehicles, maybe little overkill for inf.

Thats, for now. ;)
