I might make the intakes a touch bigger, and on the second one, I just noticed a conspicuous lack of any type of ships boat.

Larger still? I already nearly doubled them from what they were previously.

Umm ... yeah ... can't figure out where to put one. I seem to have run out of available deck space. Got any suggestions?

I just noticed the ASW TTs seems to have fallen off somewhere along the way. Bit of an issue for an ASW ship. :)

I figured having the VLS dedicated to ASW duty, plus the pair of Helos, would be sufficient. *shrug* If not, I can probably add some fixed tubes to the forward portion of the hanger similar to what I have on the Kasten Class DD's

The intake isn't as bad as I thought it was, but intakes for turbines are big.

As for the boat, I might rotate the SAM magazine and stick it aft of the funnel. You lost a fair amount of usable space moving to the VLS and adding the SSMs. I'll try and ponder it some more. It's a nice little frigate, and I want to see it work.

edit: You still want to have at least one SVTT as a backup. I'd stick it on whatever side you don't mount the boat.

another shot at the Regal class. Extended the hull 18' to give me a little more room.

Need some ideas and suggestions, folks ... For my modern warships, I've been using the Lynx as the shipboard heli, but it didn't become operational until the mid-late 70's.

So, recomendations on what to use for its predecessor? I was thinking the Sea King, but am concerned it may be too large for Frigates and smallish DD's?

Also, ASW gear for FF's built prior to 1980. ASROC, Limbo or Ikara? I have a class first commissioned in 1974 and one first commissioned in 1966 that I'm starting to look at, but having trouble coming up with an equitable weapons mix. Like the 2 classes I just finished, they are to be ASW specific ships.
