actually, it was. I made the post at 12:28. Edited it at 12:29 when I saw I forgot to remove the forward CIWS. You posted at 2:12.

decided not to change the Merlin drawing because this is the version I've used on my other ships and for continuities sake I don't feel like going back and changing all of them.

I must say I still don't get the SPY-1 / Smart-L installation on the PBs, they're both volume search to a degree, wouldn't it be easier to just have the SPY-1 for search and mid course guidance?
Also the batch twos are going to have a lovely plume of heat coming out sideways for everyone to see.

Overkill and redundancy.

With funnels, you are going to have that lovely plume of heat regardless, so I figured by having them angled outwards it might help direct the exhaust away from the electronics.
