Question - What size air group? I was thinking somewhere in the range of 48-56?

Yeah, I know I said I didn't want to get sidetracked from the WSF, but I've had this for some time now and saw it in my folder last night and went ahead and finished (I think) it.

The C-210 class container vessel was designed as a coastal and inter-island container ship able to load and unload in smaller ports which do not have regular container docking facilities. Used mostly in the Colonies and some Dominions, this class has been purchased by several shipping lines. As each has their own requirements, each shipping lines C-210's are slightly different. Some have moving cranes, some have a stationary crane, such as this one. Capacity of these small container ships is 75 TEU.

This is an example of one of 3 ships purchased by Cynhwysydd Lines, who operate primarily in the Equatorial Islands Colonies.

those angled lines in the superstructure add a lot of cost and cost a lot in space. the azimuth thruster also cost a lot space and money, while it adds not that much. the hull shape looks more like that of an landing craft instead of the blocky shape of container ships, is that intentional?
ow and, the crane cannot rotate over the the side of the containers because the cilinder will get in the way.

I would say 48 is reasonable number. Now what role this carrier have, more ASW, land support or other?

By the mid/late 1930's the fleet carriers such as this provided a combination of fleet fighter air protection, both long-range and CAP, plus bomber (torpedo & dive) as a strike force against enemy warships, port facilities and coverage for marine landings. By 1941 as light carriers became available, the CVL's of the Wyvern Class provided the fighter cover for the fleet while the CV/CVA's were the hammer, the strike forces. Carrier Groups of the 1940's were frequently organized with 1 or 2 Fleet Carriers and one Light Carrier + various cruisers and destroyers as escort. Battle groups were esentially similar, but with BB's or BC's as well. CVE's of the Quinn Bay Class were the convoy escort/ASW carriers. Some Wyvern's also provided strike missions for lower threat areas.
