Ferrimaroc is in fact a subsidiary of Acciona Trasmediterranea (from Spain) these days, and the WISTERIA is owned by Transeuropa Ferries from Slovenia and chartered out to Ferrimaroc.

I'm trying to add a few more ships to this thread as there are so many, if only I had the time!

Here is MV Reine Mathilde. Built in 1970 at Bremmerhaven by Schiffbau Gesellschaft Unterweser AG, she was originally named MV Prince of Fundy. In 1978 she was bought by Brittany Ferries and renamed MV Prince of Brittany and worked the Portsmouth - St Malo route. In 1988 she was renamed MV Reine Mathilde and transfered to the Portsmouth - Caen route.

With the arrival of the brand new MV Normandie, Reine Mathilde was sold off in 1992 and after a brief stint on a channel island route, she was renamed MS Beauport and sent to the Mediterranean Sea. In 2005 she was run up on the beach at Alang, India and scrapped.

The ship had two Pielstick 12PC2V diesel engines and a speed of 17 knots, she carried 1,020 passengers and 210 cars.

Thanks guys. I have a few ferries half finished along with some other projects, just don't seem to have much time lately.

Nice to see this thread up and running Charybdis, and a very, very nice drawing. Hope to see more of these ferries, and I'm hoping you'll turn to older ships as well.

Thought I'd wind this thread up with 2 drawings that have been in the off for what seems like years...

This was one of my original threads when joining shipbucket in Nov 2011. I've enjoyed it very much and I still have a couple of drawings in this category but I know I'll never finish them.

First up is MV St Clare and is the flagship of Wightlinks service to the Isle of Wight.

And finally a remake of the St Helen, which I had orignally made from photos only....
